TITLE: Marketing Communications Manager

 

LOCATION: Acton

 

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITY:

Reporting to VP of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for marketing operations, communications, events, campaigns, and lead generation for a growing next-generation message switch company. This hands-on role manages integrated marketing initiatives across the sales lifecycle with revenue, customer acquisition, brand recognition, and market presence as the ultimate metrics.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Manage company website for effectiveness, optimization and lead management
  • Create, execute and track lead generation campaigns, including the creation of fulfillment materials, e-newsletters and results reporting
  • Manage marketing operations and systems: website (with analytics), email management, CRM
  • Create, maintain, and distribute sales collateral (customer case studies, product brochures, technical whitepapers, presentations, etc.) including copywriting and desktop publishing as needed
  • Manage online paid search campaigns and track lead conversion rates to optimize cost/lead
  • Develop pre-sales multimedia tools such as Flash-based demonstrations
  • Manage tradeshow and event schedule, including booth, messaging and event logistics
  • Run ongoing webinar programs, including working with analysts, partners, and customers to deliver leads and targeted messaging
  • Develop and track budget for marketing-related activities

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • B.S. required or equivalent and 7+ years of relevant experience in high tech marketing communications and lead generation
  • Strong copywriting and verbal communication skills
  • Creating and delivering communications for both print and online environments
  • Creating and tracking effective marketing programs that drive qualified leads into a sales pipeline
  • InDesign and/or Quark XPress is preferred Knowledge of Photoshop, Flash and other creative tools is favorable
  • Basic HTML and web analytics knowledge a plus
  • PowerPoint and Word: Intermediate to advanced user
