Message Benchmark Test

Despite the importance of messaging systems, little progress has been made in testing the throughput and latency of this critical infrastructure component. Vendor performance claims are often partial, limited or fail to carry through to production environments―especially as the enormous flow of enterprise data is unleashed. Suddenly, historical and inadequate lab data proves meaningless when a firm’s information flow and business comes to an unexpected halt. In response to this dangerous gap between vendor claims and real-world performance, Tervela worked with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Woven Systems to create the world’s largest, most demanding test-bed for validating a real messaging infrastructure.
