![]() The Tervela TPM Provisioning & Management System™ is the administrative platform that enables centralized control of the Tervela Message Network™. It allows administrators to monitor and manage all messaging flows to enable measurable Quality of Service (QoS) levels.
The TPM leverages Tervela’s messaging operating system to enable the real-time tracking and storage of robust utilization and performance information. It provides a single point of management for the global messaging infrastructure, allowing customers to centrally manage any number of Tervela TMX Message Switch™ platforms. Administrators can centrally manage the configuration of all TMX switches and establish and enforce access privileges to prevent bottlenecks and manage the flows of traffic on the Tervela Message Network. Unlike peer-to-peer solutions, the TPM allows customers to measure and monitor individual and aggregate flows and establish access privileges according to business policies based on:
It captures statistical data on the overall health of the Tervela Message Network by centrally aggregating information from each TMX on the network. The TPM visually displays statistical reports from an easy-to-use graphical interface, and allows administrators to drill-down to analyze transport latency, messaging performance and utilization. They can also review connected clients and analyze:
Administrators can therefore easily identify and isolate slow consumers so they do not impact infrastructure performance. The TPM provides a holistic, aggregated view of enterprise messaging infrastructure so administrators can make informed and justified decisions on provisioning applications, servers and network resources to meet measurable messaging performance objectives. |
